EAFRD - Rehabilitation of Roman Baths and Christian Catacombs (REBACA) in Mgarr and Mosta.

The project intends to study, research, conserve and safeguard two main sites as the Roman baths of Għajn Tuffieħa in Mgarr and two segments of the Ta` Bistra paleochristian  Catacombs in Mosta. The projects will focus on conducting the required studies to ensure a better understanding of the sites/areas involved as well as to understand the environmental conservation requirements of the site in order to ensure its long-term accessibility and conservation. It will include the development of Interpretation areas, required accessibility pathways, archaeological covers to protect the mosaics, interpretative aids and visitor facilities as well as public programmes.
