Heritage Malta
has fostered links with many organisations, both public and
private. Apart from our informal and day-to-day links, we are
actively promoting the concept of public-private partnerships
with third parties to help us in our work of managing, conserving,
interpreting and marketing our museums and sites.
We have recently collaborated for instance with HSBC Malta
in the public presentation of the HSBC Turner Malta Watercolour.
The Bank kindly presented the painting on loan to the National
Museum of Fine Arts, and also contributed to a general upgrade
of the museum façade and the creation of a Turner display
room.
This kind of collaboration marks a new phase in the guardianship
of the nation’s heritage and is one which we hope to
foster among across a wide range of initiatives. We will also
be launching a Patrons’ Programme which features special
arrangements for corporate members.
If you would like to know more about our partnerships or
Patrons’ Programme or to talk to us about possible collaborative
initiatives, please contact us at info@heritagemalta.org.
