Heritage Malta
works with many organisations, local and international, in the
course of its activities. Our links with institutions such as
the Council of Europe and UNESCO are well-established and are
a source of many of our initiatives and funding opportunities.
We also actively foster links with local partners, mainly
non-governmental organisations which operate in the cultural
heritage sector. We have partnered with them in the upkeep
of sites, educational programmes, exhibitions, events and
more. We are indebted to their support and recognise that
the exchange of know-how among us is vital to our mutual aims
of conserving, managing, interpreting and marketing the nation’s
cultural heritage, in all its forms.
We welcome approaches by any organisation keen to work with
us to foster wider appreciation of Malta’s cultural
heritage, both historical and living. Our welcome therefore
also extends to organisations not traditionally included in
historical aspects of cultural heritage, such as theatre groups
and others who may wish to contribute to our aims by means
of more contemporary cultural events. If your group or organisation
has an idea or initiative you would like to share with us,
please contact us at info@heritagemalta.org
