'Crusades' is a term used to describe a number of important military campaigns undertaken in the Middle Ages by Western European rulers against the Muslim populations of the Eastern Mediterranean.
Heritage Malta assisted the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage in the setting up of a number of events related to this project mainly in the Exhibition CRUSADES: MYTH AND REALITIES on display at Heritage Malta's National Museum of Archaeology, Valletta.
