Recent Acquisitions

We are constantly adding to our collections, either through loans or by personal donation and bequest or through purchases made by Heritage Malta. By virtue of the country’s history, we find ourselves with many benefactors, local and overseas, willing to share their personal collections. We are indebted to these individuals for donating items of both personal, sentimental value and of great significance to the Islands’ cultural heritage.

Our benefactors include of course corporations and organisation and we recognise the valuable role they play in contributing to our work. We are currently fostering close links with the private sector through our Patrons Programme. We are indebted to the many organisations who share our goals and are demonstrating their commitment to Malta’s cultural heritage through sponsorship, loans, partnership on projects and events and through many other forms of patronage.

Public spiritedness by both individuals and organisations plays a major role in helping us enrich our collections.
